Workshops on Strengthening of Contract Farming Implementation Mechanism

FNN, with Oxfam-Cambodia’s support, implemented Capacity Development for Strengthening Contract Farming Implementation (CDSCFI) Project. FNN organized seven two-day workshops on strengthening of contract farming implementation mechanism for ACs. The workshops were organized from 21 September to 10 October 2022 at Raksmey Sokha New York Hotel, Kampng Chhnang Town, Kampong Chhnang province. There were 183 participants of which 55% (101/183) are women. They are AC executives and members, Chief of District Office for Agriculture, Commune Councilors, and Officers of Technical Offices of PDAFF in Kampong Chhnang province. The workshops aim to build capacity of AC executives/members and stakeholders on law and legal provisions related to contract farming (CF) in the country and to contribute to improve contract farming management system and reduce CF grievances.
